About three weeks ago Shannon Paul tagged me in #blogmonday. Today, I'm finally getting around to doing this...albeit a bit late.
So without further adieu here are some bloggers that rock the house, but may not get as much attention as they necessarily should:
(Note: All these bloggers are in my niche of Social Media, PR, and Marketing)
Constructive Grumpiness Len Kendall's usage of graphics, simple breakdowns and penchant for actually making people laugh with his posts makes for fantastic reading. Simple, succinct and designed to make you think. You really can't beat this kind of insight. Plus he's a free-agent.
Life without Pants Matt Cheuvront is going places. His blog title definitely fits in with the theme of The Lost Jacket. The voices he regularly recruits on his blog and his inconvenience of change efforts are really starting to take off. While Matt hasn't been on the scene that long...it doesn't matter, he's going to be a force.
Tangy Slice For a pragmatic, unapologetic and skeptic view on social media I turn to Frank Days. He's not drinking the kool-aid and thus I enjoy his take on all things social media. He takes his experience based approaches and tries to apply social media to those models. He certainly has got the chops to do it (even if he went to Bowdoin).¹
FeverBee In terms of community insight Richard rivals Amber Naslund and Connie Bensen. That's damn good company to be in (I don't think it goes much higher actually). I love unorthodox people and Richard definitely fits in this category. His background is in gaming forums...but his lessons are for any community. Fantastic insights on a regular basis. Go read it now.
Shama.TV I heart Shama TV. Shama's quick wit, clear explanations and simple format allow for a quick hit look at a variety of social media issues. A younger, prettier (sorry Joe)version of JaffeJuice.TV. Well worth the 2 minutes she asks you to invest in watching one of her videos.
Have any blogs you think I should check out?
